12:01 am
It's been a while since I've updated. Sometimes I have too much going on in my head to be able to clearly write down what's going on with me.

I'm so immersed in this Sexuality and Society course that I'm taking. It's really opening my eyes to the realities of other people. My way of looking at the world is really only one way. And I don't mean my political opinions or anything, I mean like how the things about me affect the way I see the world. Race, gender, class, sex, sexual orientation, etc...

We watched a lesbian porno film in class today, hehe. It was made by lesbians and for lesbians. We watched about 25 minutes of it. It's called "Sugar High, Glitter City." I actually thought the story was pretty fun and funny. The story is that there are these "sugar ho's" and these cops, and the sugar ho's are prostitutes for candy. In all the sex scenes there is candy. Lollipops, twizzlers, powder candy sticks, etc. Lots of sucking and licking. And lots of dildos. In fact, I thought it was really interesting to see the butch women really get into the role of a man. They would act as though having the strap on dildo licked or touched was feeling really good physically. And then they would also pretend to cum, as if the dildo was a penis. That's something I didn't know was a part of that kind of roleplay, although I guess it makes sense.

I really liked how the film explored all the power relationships between the prostitutes and the cops. There were also scenes just between the prostitutes. It was interesting. I think it's good to explore these roles and play with them, rather than feel ashamed and not want to address how they make us feel. Sometimes we feel dominant or submissive, or agressive or violent. It's ok to feel that way. It's all about what you do with your feelings that matters. It's so much better to think about these things, play with ideas, rather than try to push them away and pretend they aren't there.

Last class we had a guest speaker that is a FTM (female to male) transsexual. Well, I shouldn't say transsexual because he is post-op and physically a man, and identifies as a man. So yeah, a man who used to be a woman came to talk to us. It was interesting, although I didn't agree with some of the things he said about men and women having different brains, etc. I've learned about the biological studies, and the evidence just isn't there, at least not in the way that he was trying to say it was. Oh well..I think that he just needed an excuse or justification for his sex-reassignment surgery. But honestly, it's not necessary. I don't think you have to say that you are "a man trapped in a woman's body" in order to desire and proceed with a sex change operation. I think that if that's really really what you want and what would make you happy, you don't have to justify that to anyone.

I'm going away tomorrow with David and Alexa to Sicamous. It should be fun. I haven't been away with Alexa for a long time, and I am looking forward to it. I'm just bummed because the weather won't be so great.

Ooh, it is all rainy. The hot weather is gone for now.

On Friday night I'm flying to Calgary with David for his brother's wedding. We'll be back on Tuesday night. Then later in the month, we're going with Alexa, and hopefully her friend Alex, to Sicamous.

I came across this cool site the other day. Well, interesting anyway. They have an interesting idea. Basically, it's a company that is looking for adult content from real, everyday, pretty people, and so they've got a budget of $25,000 to spend on paying people for this content. So you go to the site, set up a profile, and submit photos of yourself. They can be anything from just cute pictures, totally clothed, to sex photos. I think the idea behind it is that they want the photos to actually be amateur. Anywho, they pay by paypal, and they pay $4 for 10 clothed photos, and I think $7.50 for 10 nude photos. I thought I'd put that out there in case anyone was interested. The site is www.modelsplash.com

Personally, I think it's a bit of a rip off, as a model should get at least $150 for a set of 60-100 photos. But if you're not a model, and you happen to have sexy photos of yourself anyway, you might as well send them in and get some cash. You can send in as many as you want, so you could potentially make hundreds of dollars. You just have to be comfortable with the fact that one day all the photos will be used on a paysite, and this company will probably make tons and tons of money.

I thinks it's interesting. I haven't come across anything like that before.

11:08 am - Daniel's 27th Birthday Party!
On Saturday our friend Daniel had the COOLEST party in the world. It was so awesome. It was his 27th birthday, and started at around 3pm. Everyone dressed up in medieval sort of clothing, and there were a whole bunch of games with swordfighting. Except the swords were all padded with foam and duct tape. Lots of people got injured though, lol. That's why I didn't participate in the fighting. Even though Daniel assured me it would be gentle, I knew there would be people that just couldn't control themselves. Of about 25 people there, I saw 3 injuries, including a guy who got hit in the face and got a bloody nose! Ouch!

Anyway, after the swordfighting and capture the flag stuff, we went back to his house and the music and drinking started. It was fun. There were lots of people there, and quite a few that were fun to talk to. Yes, some asshole people were there too, like this guy who was REALLY loud during the musicians performing. I was really annoyed by that.

Yeah, so it went until about 1am, or at least, that's when we left. Good times!!!!! One of the most fun parties I've ever been to.

I'm not really much into those parties that are just about getting drunk. That's something that could happen anytime. I like parties that have a theme, and that are organized. That's why I don't really hold parties...I wouldn't know hot to make them enjoyable, lol.

Yeah, maybe I'll post some pictures. David went all out! Black body paint covering his face and neck, really realistic elf ears, and all black clothing. He did a really good job at the swordplay stuff, since he's a fencer AND a ballet dancer. These strangers who were walking by (we did this in a public park, lol) thought he was really cool. Hehe, it's all very geeky, but lots of fun.

My costume wasn't much of a costume..just a brown peasant type skirt, and a white peasant midriff-showing top. Pigtails. Yeah.

11:01 am - Perfect Day
Yesterday was one of those incredible days...

It was so hot, and we really wanted to go outside. I would have been ok with going to the beach, or walking around, or just anything to get outside. David wasn't feeling up for much activity, since he was all sore from the work out yesterday, so I suggested we go to a restaurant that was right by the water, and had a patio. I looked around on the internet, and found a place that looked cool. It's called Mill Marina Bistro, or something like that. It's in Coal Harbour. Ooooooh, it was the best location! We sat outside, right in the sun, looking out at the water. Also, it was right next to a water park, so we also lots of cute little kids having the time of their lives, hehe.

I ordered an apple cider, David got an ale. David ordered beer steamed mussles, and I ordered a spinach salad, and some fries. There weren't really any vegetarian options other than what I ordered. I mainly chose the place based on its location and because I thought David would really like the mussles. As it turned out, the mussles were apparently fantastic, so I did a good job :)

However, the salad was really really lame, and so were the fries. Everything was edible, it's just that I could have done a better job myself. Oh well. The cider was nice, and made me a little buzzed, which is always an interesting feeling when you're out in the sun. After that (around 4pm), we walked along the seawall in Coal Harbour, through Stanley Park, and made our way to Second Beach. It was so hot! Even at 4pm. It must have been around 26 degrees. When we got to the beach, David went swimming. I actually would have gone as well, but I didn't have a bathing suit. But that's how nice it was. I'm not really the kind of person to swim in the ocean unless it's really nice.

Then we walked into Downtown from there, and walked down Denman, and went shopping at Capers on Robson. Went home. Had sex like you have in the first 3 month's of a relationship ;P

Yeah..all in all, just a perfect, wonderful, magical day where everything was perfect.

9:46 pm - First post
This is the first entry in this new online journal of mine. I left Livejournal after Strikethrough 2007. My account was deleted for simply listing pedophilia as an interest. I was told I was no longer welcome to use Livejournal. However, several days later they restored my account, and stated that it was ok to list pedophilia as an interest. However, by that point I was way too offended to stay. What the hell? How can they even consider that an excuse to delete a journal without warning? It's an INTEREST! I can be INTERESTED in ANYTHING! It is not bad, or illegal, to be interested in anything. Even gang rape and torturing animals, or whatever. Obviously doing those things would be bad, but for god's sake, you should be allowed to be interested in whatever you want without getting persecuted for it.

So, that's why I left. Another reason was because LJ didn't restore a lot of journals that thought were "inappropriate." Some of these journals I had seen before they were deleted, and I can assure you that they did not break any laws or encourage any illegal activity. LJ is simply a prejudiced, heterosexist organization. That is NOT something I want to be a part of.

I'm looking forward to the freedom I have here at InsaneJournal to express myself :)

I chose a new name for myself here...I want a fresh start. Sekhmet. The Egyptian goddess of war, a lioness. Yes, I'm starting to feel like this is a war, a war for rights, and so I thought it was appropriate. Also, I'm a leo ;p
